The type of personal information we collect

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you. We obtain it via email, phone, post or through our website either when you enquire about our services or while we are working with you. 


We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to, and for us this is generally in the following circumstances:


  • To respond to an enquiry from you and to contact you in relation to services or products you may have expressed an interest in.
  • Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into, or have already entered into, with you in relation to HR consultancy or coaching services.
  • To collaborate with you either as an associate or a partner.
  • To charge you for our services.
  • To pay for a service or product that you have provided to us.
  • To comply with our obligations regarding keeping of accounting and tax records.
  • Auditing usage of our website. 


We may also ask whether you wish to receive marketing information, such as a newsletter, from us. We will not send you marketing if you ask us not to. If you agreed to receive marketing but later change your mind and no longer wish to receive it, please let us know so that we can remove you from our distribution lists.  We will never use employee information for marketing. 


A small amount of the information we collect may on occasion be accessible to third parties. This generally only relates to the financial and invoicing information we hold, which may be shared with our accountants. 


The data we collect is only used for the purposes you have signed up for. You may withdraw your consent to this use at any time in writing or email by getting in contact with us via the contact details above. 


How we store your personal information 

Your information is securely stored within the UK. 


We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

In general, unless still required in connection with the purpose(s) for which it was collected and/or is processed, we remove your personal data from our records six years after the date it was collected. 


However, if before that date we are no longer lawfully entitled to process your data or you validly exercise your right of erasure, we will remove or anonymise your personal data from our records at the relevant time.


In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

You may come across hyperlinks on our website. These may take you to sites operated by other organisations for which we are not responsible. When preparing our website we have taken every care possible, however, we have no control over any of the information you can access via other websites. You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
